Why So Serious?

Day by day the world is getting curious

We are finding answers of questions about which nobody was ever furious

Artificial Intelligence, Mars expedition or search for extra-terrestrials

in each and every field we are victorious

The more we explore the more it is getting mysterious

But even after knowing all answers, still why so serious?

Everything is becoming smart

From mobile phones to cities in every part

We are living in the world of apps

which even tell us when to eat and when to take rest

We grade ourselves by the no. of likes

On facebook, twitter and even on Pintrest

We enjoy things which are boisterous

still our smile seems spurious

So let me ask why so serious?

We plan for the future right in the present

Not wasting a single moment

We work hard day in and day out to get life which is glorious

Even after getting the opportunities we want

regarding our life we are still dubious

I need to know why so serious?

Our hopes and expectations are on the rise

We don’t know when they will suffice

Problems and challenges we are facing everyday

We all are running in a rat race hoping that it will end one day

Having all the comforts which are mercurial

We failed to take out time for our near and dears

Unable to appreciate the beauty of nature which is vivacious and precious

Now we know, why so serious!
